If your multi point lock is stiff to lock/unlock in the closed position then the chances are you have an alignment issue. To check try locking the door in the open position. If it locks freely it is definitely and alignment issue. If it is still stiff then its likely to be more terminal and a new gearbox or multi point strip is likely to be needed. Could not recommend Graham enough. I was moving house on a weekend and was locked outside of my parents house, nobody could get in as the lock had completely stopped working, meaning I couldn't retrieve any of my belongings from my parents house, dropped Graham a message, he answered extremely quickly, what could have only been around 25-30 minutes later, he had already arrived, fixed the issue and left. Just tremendous service all around and extremely reasonable prices. If you are ever in need of a locksmith, Graham is your guy! Thanks mate.
